Going places and saying goodbye

I miss everyone at home but I'm going to miss everyone here as well.

I more than loved the Miniatur Wunderland model railway we visited yesterday.

I made a gingerbread house, it was very big and was fun to make, here's a picture of it.

I can't wait to see you, everyone.

Tonight I felt really sad when I saw Spencer and Sylvia and Jeff and cute little Lisbeth with baby power go home. Because it was the last day seeing them. I don't know when I'm going to see her again.

We're going on three airplanes to get home, it's a bit annoying because the airplane food - well, I do not like it. On Friday night we will be home.

Hamburg with friends

A couple of nights ago we went to the Hamburger Dom, which is a great fair. I had a toffee apple except it has chocolate and sprinkles on it instead of toffee. And I got an edible necklace, which I am saving and we had a berliner donut on the train. I went in this weird house things and it had all this glass everywhere in a maze and I got stuck in there, mum says for nearly fifteen minutes.

I went in to the jungle one, this lizard came out of the rocks and I just screamed, I don't know why. I wasn't feeling very brave then, and there was a whole lot of smoke. I was thinking, I can't see and what is the point of doing all of these things, and it was going boom, boom, boom, and I thought, I can't see, sorry. I can't see my hand.

We did archery, and this girl was doing it really weirdly. And they spoke English. I did a sideshow where you hammer things, I hardly hit any. I got a lollipop from that. I bought a toy, Yoohoo from Yoohoo and Friends, like the show.

Here is Lizbeth, just about the cutest baby in the universe actually, and she has baby power. A lot of baby power. You can look at these pictures and there is also Spencer. No, he is not a train from Thomas & Friends, because there is a mean Spencer in Thomas. He's a speed train. This Spencer is a cute, slightly annoying little boy, he loves me like a big sister. He's a bit like Cedar, except that Cedar is a different kind of annoying.

We went on the train to Lüneburg. Mum found this magnetic chess set near the end of the day, me and Jeff played it on the train and I cheated one time by accident.

I miss you daddy so much. And everyone else.

Mummy and Me in Munich

Mummy woke me up very early yesterday (Saturday) because we had to get off the train. Our hotel is near one called something about a wolff. We saw a circus sign. Our hotel is cool, we didn't have breakfast in the hotel.

The glockenspiel is a clock and at a certain time you get to watch the movements of the people. When we get home I can show you, mum took a video. It was cool but it took ages - it makes a noise and you think it's going to start, but it doesn't and it takes ages before it starts.

The gallery was cool, we saw one of the Sunflowers pictures (by Van Gogh), I loved it. I was very excited about it. I was surprised to see it in Germany. I saw lots of statues, it was disgusting because I saw their doodles and butts. They were naked, most of them were naked.

You can watch these videos of me at the river today (Sunday).

From Florence to Siena (with one 'n')

Yesterday we went to Siena and walked, walked, walked. The middle of Siena is shaped as a shell and is a slope. I lay down on Mummy and Mummy looked at the map, then we walked, walked, walked. We went to the toilet and we had to pay for the toilet and I thought that was very annoying and weird. So then we went up the stairs that were on a bit of an angle and we bought some things.
I bought a little box, I bought a jumper with my name with one 'n' in it. Then we went on a bus and went back to Florence.

Florence is a bit like Paris and you just walk through hallways and buildings next to lots and lots of doors. We bought some gelati (hint - we had gelati every day in Florence).

The first day we got to Florence we arrived after lunch, we hadn't had lunch yet. So we went out for the first time in Florence, we went to a restaurant to have some lunch. Mum had gnocchi and I had salmon sauce with penne. We met a magic man who was sitting next to us in the restaurant. I watched him do magic tricks and then he showed me more magic tricks, like he made a cloth go red, he made a cloth disappear in his hand and took it out of his mouth. I thought that was disgusting. He said that he played the guitar with his band that night. We couldn't find him later, though.

Our hotel name was Hotel Globus. I met a little girl again in the hotel, she was three years old and from California. She had a biscuit and then I had two biscuits as well, I helped her open the jar. Then we went out of the hotel and I spent the last of my money and a bit of mummy's money on Tarai, a handmade leather turtle purse. We were talking with the stall people about how to say 'helper' in Italian, and she wrote things down for us and we chose Tarai from Tartaruga (Italian for turtle) and aiutare (to help). I wanted to call her 'the helper' but I liked Tarai more.

Then we walked a lot, saw the David statue replica and I didn't really like it. I went on the carousel. I said thank you to mummy. We saw the bridge with houses on it. We went back to shopping, we looked at the hats and got some gloves. We stopped and had gelato, I had chocolate because I love it, it's yummy. We saw this guy who was smoking the other day and I ran away. Then we went to a cafe and mum wrote this blog post down for me.

Goodbye, ciao ciao (goodbye in Italian). Tonight we have to go get our suticases, we have to get them down the stairs because the elevator only goes down to the second bottom level. It's very tiring for mum, I was sorry for her, I'm always sorry for her. Then if we have time I will go on the ipad in the train station while we are waiting for our overnight train. it will take us to Munich in Germany for two days. Isn't that great? Also on the train for the ipad, maybe, I really really hope so.

I miss you everyone, soooo much.

Leaving Venice

Sienna's favourite thing - walking through water in acqua alta

Sienna's second favourite thing - feeding pigeons

We are sitting on the steps outside the train station, ready to leave Venice and go to Florence. I took a video that I would like to share with you on my blog. I saw a fisherman.

Wet feet in Venice

There are no cars in Venice, they do have taxis except they're boats.

View from our hotel room window
Our hotel room is through that slightly open green door in the corner
Our hotel
We went to our hotel from the train station and somone helps us because the suitcase was very heavy and there was really high water everywhere. We were filmed a little on  TV because the tide was 1.5 metres high (but it wasn't 1.5 metres high where we were, it was about 20-30cm when we were being filmed). We were walking through the water and walked past the TV men and they wanted to shoot because two people were helping us carry our big suitcase over the water. It was Channel 3 in Italy but we didn't see it. I liked getting wet, it's awesome.

Yesterday I watched a little bit of TV in the morning. I watched Skylanders in Italian. Mum stopped it near the start of the show. I was disappointed. We had breakfast. I played Minecraft for a really really really really really short time. I played a new game. When I started playing it I was stuck in a hole. It was so so stupid. While mummy was making my blog post and checking money and emailing.

Then we went out of the hotel. I was sad because there was no flood. I was sad because I loved walking through the tide. It was so fun. Mum bought me gumboots the day before. Last night I said thank you mummy for buying the boots.

Buying Venetian masks

On our wandering we came across this wedding couple having photos

We went into a mask shop. We got a beautiful mask for mum, a beautiful mask for me and a funny mask as well. Later on in the day we bought another silly mask that has bells on the head.
My drawing of the glass making

We were walking for a long time and I saw a man making glass animals in a shop. There was a flame in front of him. He gets lots of flass sticks, puts them in the flame, it goes gooey and then he makes a shape and dries it off. Then puts more decoration on by getting another tiny thin little coloured glass stick, puts it in the flame, it gets gooey, then he dobs it on the animal and whatever colour it is - like black - there's a little black dot on the glass animal.

THE END
